Eye of the Tiger Management is pleased to announce its big comeback in Quebec City as the organization will hold a boxing event open to the public at the Videotron Center on September 23. The organization is proud to be able to present another quality card composed of bouts where several headliners of the team will be in the spotlight. This will feature the comeback of one of the most feared heavyweights on the planet, Arslanbek Makhmudov (12-0-0, 12 KOs), world contender Christian Mbilli (18- 0-0, 17 KOs) and powerful slugger Steven Butler (28-3-1, 24 KOs). During this evening, 6 other exciting duels will be offered to the public including those of Clovis Drolet (13-1-0. 9 KOs), Leila Beaudoin (3-0-0, 1 KO), Alexandre Gaumont (2-0-0, 1 KOs), Bree Howling (3-0-0), Sukhdeep Singh Bhatti (9-0-0, 3 KOs) as well as the local clash between Guillaume Coudé (7-1-1, 6 KOs) and Hubert Poulin (2-0-0).

 

Now ranked 12th in the world by the WBC, terrifying Russian giant Arslanbek Makhmudov will be chasing his thirteenth recorded victory before the limit in as many bouts as he concludes this evening jam packed with talent in a championship fight. Additionally, the powerful slugger, Christian Mbilli he will want to impress the spectators who will be present during this explosive evening. Mbilli, who recorded two speedy victories in his last duels, had also challenged all the champions of his division following his victory obtained at the Military Academy in West Point, New York. The one nicknamed “Solid” therefore wishes to continue his ascent in the world rankings on September 23 in Quebec. Boxing fans will also have the chance to see Steven "Bang Bang" Butler as the latter returns to action under the aegis of his trainer, Rénald Boisvert. Butler had a great training camp, having completed many rounds of sparring with current World Champion Demetrius "Boo Boo" Andrade. "Bang Bang" is on a mission. The time he has taken to rest since his last performance has allowed him to make the necessary adjustments during his intensive training in the gym in order to find the path to victory once again.

 

“For our great return to the Videotron Center, we have decided to showcase not one but several of our headliners in order to offer the best possible show to the fans who will be present. Makhmudov, Mbilli and Butler are all internationally recognized boxers and we are fortunate to be able to put them on the same card here in Quebec," said Eye of the Tiger Management President Camille Estephan.    

 

In addition, the tiger from Beauport, Clovis Drolet, will also return to the ring in front of his fans. Drolet, who has just had two crushing KO victories, is extremely anxious to come back home to box as he will be in the first championship fight of his career. Another boxer from Quebec City, Leila Beaudoin, will be in her first 6 round bout. The talented boxer has the firm intention of winning her fourth fight in an expeditious manner supported by the cheers from the Quebec crowd. As well, the popular hard hitting puncher from Gatineau, Alexandre Gaumont will be making his third outing in less than five months. The Buckingham native will want to wow the crowd by putting into practice everything he has been working on at the gym with his father and trainer, Marcellin Gaumont.

       
“To add to the show, we decided to give Clovis Drolet a meaningful fight in front of his crowd, at home. We also wanted to take another step with Leila Beaudoin who will make fight in her first six rounder. We have worked extremely hard to deliver another quality card to the fans as we present a total of 9 explosive fights on September 23,” added Eye of the Tiger Management General Manager Antonin Décarie.

 
Bree Howling is another tigress who will be in action at the Videotron Center. Having won her last bout in a hotly contested duel, she comes to Quebec with a knife between her teeth to continue to make her way to the top of her division. Hockey fans will also be pleased with the local clash between two former hockey players. Indeed, the famous tough guys from the North American Hockey League, Guillaume Coudé and Hubert Poulin will cross swords in a merciless war with the intention of showing which of the two has the best capabilities inside the ropes. Raising the curtain, the tall 6-foot-7-inch Ontarian, Sukhdeep Singh Bhatti, will want to start the evening off with a flawless performance.
