EOTTM is proud to offer boxing fans one of the most anticipated local match-ups on the national scene while Quebec's Mathieu "G-Time" Germain (16-0, 8 KOs) will defend his North American title from the International Boxing Federation on January 26th, 2019 against Albertan Steve "The Dragon" Claggett (27-5-1, 17 KOs). The event, which will be presented by EOTTM in association with Vidéotron and Mise-à-jeu, will take place at the Cabaret of Montreal’s Casino and will be broadcasted live on Punching Grace.

"This fight between Germain and Claggett will set the tone for the year 2019 for our organization: we want real challenges for our boxers and thus, to offer the best fights to our fans. The excitement of local fighting is truly unique. It is comparable to the ambiance we see for world championships. So it's a winning formula for both boxing fans and our athletes, who have to live through this type of pressure before coming to bigger fights on the international stage," says EOTTM President Camille. Estephan

"I intend to play with Claggett and bring him back to school. He'll understand what a real boxing IQ is. He will have to watch the fight again and take notes because he will not understand what will be happening in the heat of the moment!” mentions Mathieu Germain.

Steve Claggett hopes to cause the upset just as in 2017, when he won his fight against Yves Ulysse Jr. by split decision. "I really like this fight. I have been wanting this bout for a long time. Germain is fast, and a sharp boxer  with a great following. This bout is going to be a showcase of what I have been working on for the last year of my life. I can't wait to knock him out”,  adds Steve Claggett.

The event will also feature Sadriddin Akhmedov (6-0, 6 KOs) who will have the opportunity to get his hands on the WBC Junior World Belt as well as Arslanbek Makhmudov (5-0, 5 KOs), Clovis Drolet (8-0, 5 KOs), Vincent Thibault (7-0, 2 KOs), Kim Clavel (5-0, 1 KOs), Raphaël Courchesne (4-0, 2 KOs), François Pratte (8-0) and Kaemy Savoie (1-0). The young Quebec boxer Lexson Mathieu will also make his professional debut against an opponent who will be unveiled shortly.

Tickets will go on sale this week on the Admission network at www.admission.com or at the Cabaret of the Montreal Casino’s box office. The Gala will be offered exclusively online to Punching Grace subscribers. For more information, visit eottm.com
